Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the blogs and the press. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sounds it would produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music as a passion rather than a profession. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform her songs publicly when her mother said they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her music, but rather to help those around them see their own importance and how they could impact the world. The piano was her first instrument when she was six, and she started creating music after turning nine. The family did not be aware of this until she was fourteen. Aurora had no idea of being a famous singer. Her sole passion is to write music. To her music, is the most effective means of communicating anything.
