Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her witty sense of humor. She plays April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show her character made her first web-series debut by performing comedy sketches and improv shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. After her debut the actress went on to was in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) as well as David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born in Wilmington Delaware. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an English-Irish mother. Plaza attended a Catholic girls in 2002 through 2006, then she attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. While a student at Wilmington Drama League, Plaza served as the President of their Student Government. Plaza was disabled for a time in 2004 after a stroke. She has now recovered. Since 2004, Plaza is performing sketch and improv comedy in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Plaza played in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show alongside Ben Schwartz and also the debut Terrible Decisions episode.
